The Luke 4 - Acts 4 Jesus way to
Proclaim Good News to the Poor
“All the believers were one in heart and mind. No one claimed that any of their possessions was their own, but they shared everything they had. With great power the apostles continued to testify to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. And God’s grace was so powerfully at work in them all that there were no needy persons among them.”
Acts 4:32-34
Pastor Brett & Dr. Angie have lived in the low income Spanish speaking downtown San Jose Washington community for more than 16 years. They have four adopted grown children, three are refugees of the South Sudanese Civil war who came to the Bymasters through foster care in Santa Clara County, and one is of Mexican descent who grew up in the community. They have one biological child who goes to the local elementary school, Washington Elementary, one of the poorest in Silicon Valley. They also have a 3 year old grandchild who is probably the happiest individual to have ever lived (and certainly the cutest)!
